Intel today released its financial report for the third quarter of fiscal 2020. Revenue was US$18.333 billion, a 4% decrease from US$19.190 billion in the same period last year; net profit was US$4.276 billion, compared with US$5.99 billion in the same period last year. A decrease of 29%.


According to the division, the Intel Customer Computing Group’s net revenue in the third quarter was 9.847 billion US dollars, compared with 9.709 billion US dollars in the same period last year; operating profit was 3.554 billion US dollars, compared with 4.305 billion US dollars in the same period last year. Among them, platform business revenue was 8.762 billion US dollars, compared with 8.379 billion US dollars in the same period last year; other business revenues were 1.085 billion US dollars, compared with 1.330 billion US dollars in the same period last year.

Intel Data Center Group’s third-quarter revenue was US$5.905 billion, compared with US$6.383 billion in the same period last year, and operating profit was US$1.903 billion, compared with US$3.115 billion in the same period last year.


In addition, Intel’s non-variable storage solutions group revenue in the third quarter was US$1.153 billion, compared to US$1.290 billion in the same period last year, and the Internet of Things Group’s third-quarter revenue was US$911 million, compared to last year $1.234 billion in the same period


Intel expects revenue in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2020 to be approximately $17.4 billion, and revenue in fiscal 2020 is approximately $75.3 billion.
